Eagle-eyed viewers watching The Chase have pointed out the absolutely perfect order of this week’s contestants, with several people speculating that it must have been done on purpose.
On Monday evening’s episode of The Chase, presenter Bradley Walsh opened the show by introducing this week’s contestants, as he does every week.
Straight away, fans of the show noticed the hilarious positioning of the contestants’ names as they sat next to each other on the panel.
On the far left sat Winston, with Churchill sitting next to him, followed by Teresa and June.
Fans of The Chase couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw Winston and Churchill positioned alongside one another, their monikers spelling out the name of the wartime prime minister.
‘Just turned on #TheChase and I can’t believe me eyes. There is a guy called Winston and a guy called Churchill. I’m done,’ one person tweeted.
‘What are the chances?!?’ another said.
Several other Twitter users noted that if the contestant on the far right was called May, the second half of the team would have also spelt out the name of former prime minister Theresa May, albeit with her first name spelt slightly differently.
‘May pulled out at the last minute,’ one person wrote, while another said: ‘It’s a shame the first contestant’s name wasn’t May.’
Last week, it was reported that quiz whizz Paul Sinha, otherwise known as The Sinnerman on The Chase, is in talks to front a brand new ITV quiz show.
A source told The Sun that the show will involve two teams of celebrity guests ‘going head-to-head’, although it ‘won’t be as mad as Celebrity Juice’.
