The Chase teases fans with first-look at new quizzer

The Chase has just teased fans with a first look at its new quizzer.

But, who could it be?

The ITV gameshow announced earlier this year that they were adding another Chaser to the mix, but they have kept fans guessing ever since.

Taking to its official Instagram account, The Chase shared a short clip of the new quizzer, but all we can see is a silhouette of a mystery person.

They captioned the clip: ‘Everyone has been asking about it, and today you got a glimpse of what is to come with a look at the new Chaser’s silhouette.

‘You’re going to want to keep watching future episodes to find out more.’

The video also shows host Bradley Walsh teasing viewers and contestants with the new quizzer as he can be heard saying: ‘Are we taking on a mystery brain box from somewhere on the planet?’

Fans couldn’t help but comment on the post, as they eagerly await to see who the mystery Chaser is.

One commented: ‘Ogmgoggmgogg new chaser I like that.’

Another said: ‘You’re teasing us all, The Chase! I wonder who the mystery brainbox is from somewhere on the Planet?’

While one added: ‘Can’t wait.’

In April, former contestant Darragh Ennis teased fans by telling them he was going to be the new quizzer.

However, at the time ITV didn’t confirm on whether the rumours were true.

If Darragh is the new Chaser, he’ll be joining the likes of Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, Shaun ‘Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty, Paul ‘Sinnerman’ Sinha, and Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan.

Either way, we can’t wait!

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
