The Cube’s The Body’s identity had remained a complete mystery for years – until now.
The mysterious character has finally been unmasked as model and singer Andrianna Christofi, who has appeared on the ITV show as Phillip Schofield’s trusty demonstrator since its inception in 2009.
The 44-year-old has been in the world of showbiz for more than two decades, and she revealed to The Sun she’s performed with Boyzone and the Spice Girls.
She added to the publication that although she’s only been seen wearing a mask and a skin-tight outfit on The Cube, she has a huge fan base who inundate her with bizarre requests.
‘I often get asked for kinky stuff,’ Andrianna said.
‘Some see me as a dominatrix. “I’ll pay you this amount if I can wrestle you”.’
It was announced in June that the iconic game show The Cube was being revived by ITV after five years off air.
Phil revealed filming had kicked off in July and that the new show will promise even higher stakes than ever before with a life-changing £1million jackpot.
Contestants will be put through their paces by attempting seemingly simple tasks within the high-pressure confines of the iconic Perspex box. As well as facing solo games, they will also face brand new two player challenges.
Each pair will have nine lives to complete seven games, each worth an increasing amount of money, as they move closer to the huge jackpot.
Players will have to overcome extreme nerves and frustration as they take on deceivingly simple tasks such as throwing a ball into a container, balancing on a beam or stopping a clock at precisely 10 seconds.
As well as the million-pound special series, there will also be a celebrity special, allowing well-known names and faces to feel the intense pressure as they endeavour to beat The Cube and win £250,000 for their chosen charity.
‘The Cube is such a cracking format but with the players now in teams and a whopping million-pound prize fund, it now means this high-pressure environment has just got tougher,’ Phil enthused.
