The Flight Attendant star Kaley Cuoco has shared a first look at Mae Martin in season 2 of the gripping TV series, showing the pair beaming as they hang out on set.
Last week, it was announced that Mae, who recently received critical acclaim for the second series of comedy-drama Feel Good, had been cast as a guest star in The Flight Attendant.
The show originally premiered in November 2020, following alcoholic flight attendant Cassie Bowden (Kaley) after she finds a dead body in her bed, with no recollection of what happened the night before.
Following the events of season one, the new episodes will depict Cassie living ‘her best sober life’ in LA, while also working as an asset for the CIA behind the scenes.
While not much is known about the character Mae is portraying in season two, we do know the character’s name – Grace St James.
The Big Bang Theory star Kaley shared a series of photos on Instagram of her time over the past week in LA, including a first look at Mae on set.
The first picture of the photo dump showed Kaley and Mae lounging on a sofa, both of them smiling at the camera in the black-and-white image.
In another photo taken on the set of a plane, Kaley can be seen in her flight attendant uniform, while Mae is wearing a shirt and waistcoat.
Several of Kaley’s Instagram followers expressed their excitement over seeing Mae in the behind-the-scenes snaps and about The Flight Attendant making a highly-anticipated return.
‘Omg finally!!! I’ve been waiting soooo long for season two,’ one person said.
‘So excited about @hooraymae!!!,’ someone else said, tagging Mae.
Mae also appeared to share a behind-the-scenes photo on their Instagram Story, posting a picture in costume on a TV monitor.
The comedian refrained from giving too much away, sharing the picture alongside an emoji with its mouth zipped shut.
Last month, Kaley was spotted filming in Berlin shortly after filing for divorce from her husband of three years, Karl Cook.
The actor was captured in Germany wearing a hot pink trench coat, her hair styled in her character’s signature messy updo.
