Jeremy Clarkson narrowly avoided being blown up in The Grand Tour’s brand new Amazon Prime Video special A Massive Hunt.
In scenes of the newly released episode, the presenter bravely decided to light sticks of dynamite on a beach in Madagascar before racing against the clock to get into his car and away from the scene before they exploded.
We do not encourage you to try this at home.
‘This is the fuse wire,’ Jeremy pointed out as he knelt in the sand. ‘Put one in there like that and light the other end.
‘Then I have three minutes to reach minimum safe distance in the MFB before the explosions begin.’
However, disaster struck when Jeremy lit the devices, as he quickly realised time was of the essence – and it was ticking down fast.
‘That is not three minutes!’ he panicked. ‘Sh*t sh*t sh*t!’
Jeremy scrambled to get to his car and as he fired up the engine, he screamed: ‘Go! Go! Go!’
Luckily he managed to get away just in time, with the dynamite exploding right behind him.
The brand new special is packed full with drama, with one scene detailing the moment Jeremy’s co-host Richard Hammond wrote off his car.
Elsewhere, Jeremy drove past a woman in shackles.
A Massive Hunt sees the former Top Gear trio tasked with finding treasure in Madagascar with the help of modified cars.
It marks a return to business as usual for The Grand Tour after the last special had Jeremy, James and Richard sailing boats across Vietnam.
