The Masked Singer viewers have been hard at work trying to work out the identity of Poodle, and there’s one name which has been cropping up time and time again.
Fans on social media are convinced that Mika is the one behind the mask, after spotting a vital clue on Saturday’s show.
After the singer performed What’s New Pussycat on the most recent show, Rita shared an interesting theory with viewers, saying she believed it was a professional singer behind the mask – and also saying that she thought it was Mika.
One key clue saw the singer say: ‘I’ve been known for being hazel, cerulean and ultra lilac.’
Judge Jonathan thought he’s worked out the cryptic clue, saying that the alternative names for the colours the singer mentioned were brown, blue and lilac – which he believed was a hidden reference to Mika’s song Grace Kelly.
The singer also said that they ‘loved being idolised’, which could be a reference to Mika’s time as a judge on the Italian version of The X Factor.
Fans wasted no time in sharing their theories online, with one writing: ‘Poodle is definitely Mika.’
Another added: ‘Actually Jonathan might have something there. That #Mika clue was telling.’
Could they be onto something? Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, sharp-witted fans have also been taking their guesses, with a long-held fan theory about the identity of Bagpipes being proved correct on Saturday’s show.
There are also viewers out there who believe it could be Reverend Richard Coles under the Poodle costume.
The Masked Singer returns Saturday at 7pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
