The Masked Singer UK: Will there be another series?

The Masked Singer UK has been a bit of an obsession with viewers across the country tuning in to see who’s behind the mask.

Celebs like Mel B, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Martine McCutcheon have been unmasked in the mad series that had even the most reluctant of viewers hooked by the end.

Meanwhile, comedian Mo Gilligan smashed it on the panel as he joined season veterans Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, and Davina McCall.

Safe to say, series two of the competition has been a wild ride, but fans are already wondering about the show’s future.

Will there be a series three of The Masked Singer UK?

Never fear – the show will be back.

Jonathan recently revealed that the show is returning, telling The Mirror: ‘Okay, well we’re doing a third series. And I’m doing the third series. And I shouldn’t speak about who the other judges are but you’re not going to be surprised.

‘I’m looking forward to doing it because it’s a fun way to spend the evening.’

Who will be on the judging panel?

Other than Jonathan confirming he’ll be back, we’re still in the dark about who will be joining him on the judging panel.

However, his comment that we ‘won’t be surprised’ seems to imply that Mo, Davina and Rita will be returning with him.

Of course, we’re sure there will be more fun guest stars – for series two, we had Matt Lucas and Alan Carr joining the panel for an episode each.

Will The Masked Dancer air in the UK?

There have been reports that the US show The Masked Dancer will be coming to ITV. However, nothing is confirmed.

‘Everyone’s really excited about The Masked Dancer, it’s a huge success in the USA so producers can’t wait to bring it to the UK,’ a source said.

‘Like The Masked Singer it is brilliant fun with high production values and everyone is convinced it’ll be a hit this side of the pond.’

‘ITV struck the deal over the rights to the format at the start of this week and now the producers are compiling a team to start work on it,’ they added to The Sun.

The Masked Singer series 2: Who is behind each mask?

While the performances are of course a draw, most of the fun lies in guessing just who is behind each mask. Here are the clues and theories so far:
