Four friends are at the heart of The Pact on BBC (Picture: BBC)
Tonight the first episode of new thriller The Pact will be airing on BBC, and it looks like it’s going to have us on the edge of our seat.
When a young brewery boss Jack (Aneurin Barnard) is found dead, it triggers a chain of events that draws four employees of the brewery into a pact of silence.
So far we are getting similar vibes to Big Little Lies, but instead of being set in a California beach town, we have Wales as an atmospheric backdrop.
Keep on reading to find out everything you need to know ahead of the premiere tonight.
What is The Pact about?
Cast and crew have managed to keep quite hush hush about the plot of the show, which could mean we’re in for a lot of twists, turns and interesting surprises.
The drama has been described as a story about ‘a group of friends, a sudden death and a web of lies’ with the four friends being ‘bound by a secret that will change their lives forever’.

We also know that The Pact has been described as a ‘gripping, cinematic contemporary thriller’ but apart from that, not much else has been shared.
Nevertheless, it looks like we could be in for a murder mystery and the unravelling of secrets in the wake of the death.
Consider us intrigued!
