According to rumours, Harry Clark, the winner of The Traitors season 2, turned down a large sum of money when contacted for Celebrity Big Brother.
Harry, 23, captivated the audience with his crafty antics on the second season of Claudia Winkleman’s gripping BBC game show earlier this year.
After duping the Faithfuls and proved himself to be the greatest Traitor, he went away £95,150 wealthier.
Harry has subsequently signed with talent agency Inter Talent after meeting with over 15 different agencies who were interested in hiring him.
However, it appears that his chosen agency is doing something right, since employment offers are pouring in – even if he is believed to be rejecting them down.
An inside source told The Sun that he was offered £250,000 to take part in CBB 2024 – but the army corporal declined.
‘Just like his time on the whodunnit show, he is being incredibly shrewd about every move he makes and wants to play the long game,’ the source said.
‘He’s made no bones about the fact he fancies doing reality TV.
‘And although he was incredibly flattered by the offer, Celebrity Big Brother didn’t feel like the right project for him.’
The insider added: ‘He’s now got expert guidance from one of the best talent agencies in the country after having no less than 16 companies approach him to broker deals on his behalf.’
When contacted for comment, an ITV spokesperson said: ‘Any names at this point are pure speculation and viewers will have to tune in to see who will be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house.’
When he signed with his agent, Harry announced that he was leaving the military as he embarked on a new chapter.
The agency wrote on social media: ‘We are thrilled to announce that @harryclarky, the winner and stand out star of The Traitors Season 2, has joined InterTalent.
‘Over the last few weeks, Harry met over 15 talent agencies to find who he feels is best placed to handle his introduction into the entertainment industry. We’re extremely proud that he has chosen to put this new career path in our hands.
‘We already have several exciting opportunities on the table, and we have no doubt that 23-year-old Harry, a Helicopter Engineer in the British Army, has serious potential.’
Replying to the post Harry exclaimed: ‘Exciting times’.
Meanwhile, he has the full support of his famous girlfriend, Anna Maynard, who said, ‘Proud of you, can’t wait to see what you accomplish next’.
This isn’t the only major television project for which Harry has apparently been in discussions.
He and fellow contestant Mollie Pearce are also expected to feature on I’m A Celebrity and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in the next year.
Celebrity Big Brother will return to our screens in March for the first time since ITV purchased the popular social experiment concept.
The lineup has yet to be released, but speculation is wild.

Diane was previously rumoured to be joining the famed mansion, with fans eager for her to join.
Alas, she told Daily Star: ‘Celebrity Big Brother is not happening because, sadly, if I met characters that really rubbed me up the wrong way I wouldn’t be quiet so I don’t think that would be a good idea.’
The remainder of the alleged line-up includes Phillip Schofield, Katie Price, and the Princess of Wales’ uncle Gary Goldsmith.
Celebrity Big Brother returns to ITV and ITVX in March.
