The Umbrella Academy season 3: Sparrow Academy assemble in first look pics complete with matching uniforms

The Umbrella Academy’s Justin Min has shared a first look at his brand new squad, The Sparrow Academy, suited up for season 3.

Filming for the Netflix superhero series has started up in Toronto, Canada, with the seven Hargreeves siblings returning to the modern day to discover they’ve accidentally created a brand new timeline after years in the 60s.

The worst part? The Umbrella Academy – the place they call home – is not their home anymore. It’s home to the Sparrow Academy.

While season two ended on the cliffhanger that Ben (played by Justin) is now alive in this new world, he’s definitely had an attitude adjustment, and he wasn’t pleased to see these strangers dropping in.

Now we’ve finally met the rest of the Sparrows – and they’re sure to be real trouble for everyone involved.

In a photo uploaded by Justin to his Instagram, six of the seven new cast members were seen posing in Sparrow hoodies, in formation and ready for trouble.

He simply wrote beside it: ‘Let the games begin.’

We are so ready for this.

Joining Justin in the cast is Justin Cornwell as Marcus, the honest, virtuous, and demanding leader of the pack, and the new number one replacing the insecure Luther (Tom Hopper).

Britne Oldford will play Fei (#3); Jake Epstein has been cast as Alphonso (#4); Genesis Rodriguez is Sloane (#5) and Cazzie David is the enigmatic loner Jayme (#6).

Then there’s the mysterious Existential Dread Inducing Psyckronium Cube, who will play Sparrow #7, Christopher – and if you can decipher that mystery then good luck to you.

Basically, the gang have a fight on their hands with their polar opposites.

This should be interesting…

The Umbrella Academy is available on Netflix.
