This article contains major spoilers for episode six of The Undoing.
The drama has captivated audiences all over the world, with high-profile fans like Travis Scott obsessed with trying to guess the show’s ending over recent weeks.
The programme sees the lives of Grace Fraser (Nicole Kidman) and Jonathan Fraser (Hugh Grant) thrown into chaos after acquaintance Elena Alves (Matilda De Angelis) is brutally killed.
The final episode is now available online, and viewers have wasted little time discussing the finale on social media.
Despite there being all sorts theories about Elena’s murder out there, it was revealed that Jonathan was the one who killed her.
With Jonathan the only real suspect from day one, its a testament to the drama that so few people saw it coming – and there were plenty of social media users who were deeply impressed with the reveal in the final episode.
‘It ended just as I had expected. It was case closed once Jonathan’s mom spilled the beans about his past,’ one wrote.
‘I am just in shock,’ another said.
There were some, however, who had been expecting a twist, and shared their disappointment online.
Some said that they believed their theories would have made for better TV, while others claimed that the last ten minutes of the episode ruined the whole series.
The episode also saw Grace Fraser (Nicole Kidman) sell out Jonathan with the help of best friend Lily Rabe (Sylvia Steinseitz) – and no-one saw it coming.
