The Voice US will see Ariana Grande take her place as a coach for the first time in season 21, and the singer has revealed her choice for a battle advisor is Kristin Chenoweth.
The exciting news was revealed across social media platforms on Monday and Ari couldn’t hide her delight about getting to team up with the beloved star of stage and screen.
Taking to Twitter, the Positions hitmaker wrote: ‘!!!!! i am screaming !!!!! ladies and gentlemen, i am honored to announce that my battle advisor for @nbcthevoice is the absolute queen of vocals, of funny, of technique, of kindness, of brilliance and of my heart, the one and only @kchenoweth !!!!’
The 28-year-old continued: ‘i cannot tell you how thankful i am to have shared this with her and to have been able to “teach” with someone i have learned the absolute most from.
‘my heart is in shambles. we had the most fun. i love my team. i love my Cheno. okay bye. @nbcthevoice @kchenoweth’.
The superstar singer and the Wicked star are both famous for their vocals so we’re sure everyone on Team Ariana will have learned amazing lessons from the pair.

Ariana delighted fans earlier this year when it was revealed she was joining fellow coaches John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton for the upcoming season of the reality singing competition.
John has chosen Camila Cabello as his battle advisor, while Kelly Clarkson is working with Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton has teamed up with Dierks Bentley.
Ariana – who has replaced Nick Jonas for the season – has appeared on The Voice in the past, performing her hit track Into You on the finale in 2016.
The Voice US returns to NBC on September 20, 2021. The show will air on both Mondays and Tuesday nights on NBC.
