This Morning fans were left scratching their heads as the live show was cut off.
Around 20 minutes into Friday’s edition, the ITV show began airing pre-recorded pieces that lasted roughly 10 minutes.
The portions included tours of sites such as Seven Sisters and the New Forest, with viewers alerted to the fact that something was wrong by a sign in the centre of their screen.‘We are sorry for the disruption to your service. We will return to normal programming as soon as we can,’ it read.
‘Has This Morning gone off air for some reason?’ Danny F posted on X.
‘What’s going on at This Morning?,’ Neil questioned.
‘Wonder what’s going on in the studio,’ Ross added.
This Morning updated viewers by posting the following statement on its social media channels.
‘Apologies for the technical issues, we’ll be back with you as soon as possible!’

When the live programme resumed, hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary apologised for the unexpected interruption.
‘Welcome back. We do apologise. We have been having a few gremlins in the system and we do apologise,’ Alison said.
The broadcast was cut off during the ad break, but the hosts had just spoken with Gyles Brandreth and Isla Traquair.
When Dermot returned, he joked that Gyles had ‘gone backstage’ and caused chaos on the system. This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
