Friday presenters Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond are currently stepping in for Holly and Phil as they remain absent from the ITV morning programme.
They were expected to be back this week, with fans thinking they would return on Wednesday morning after failing to present the day before.
However, the latest episode of This Morning started with the sound of Eminem’s Without Me, with Alison joking: ‘Everyone at home is literally like ‘they’re back!’
Dermot added: ‘You’re no more surprised than when are to be back,’ as they got ready to front another programme.
But where are Holly and Phil? Here’s everything you need to know about where the presenting duo are, and when they will return to the helm.
Where are Holly and Phil on This Morning?
Holly and Phil have been away from ITV for the festive break, but appeared on This Morning’s pre-recorded Christmas Day special episode.
With the holiday season now drawn to a close, viewers expected the pair to be back on Tuesday when This Morning returned from a schedule break.
Instead, Alison and Dermot – who usually present the Friday morning episode – are hosting in their place.
It’s not known why Holly and Phil are away from the role, with some fans confused by their absence.
But it seems they’re taking some extended time off after the Christmas holidays.
Their famous Spin to Win segment is also missing from the show’s line-up, with it expected to be back when the duo return.
When will they be back on?
Viewers still have a little while longer to wait until Holly and Phil will be back on This Morning.
ITV confirmed to Metro.co.uk the hosting pair will be back on Monday, January 10.
This means Alison and Dermot should remain hosting for the rest of the week in their absence.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
