This Morning’s Dr Zoe Williams announces she’s pregnant with her first child

This Morning’s Dr Zoe Williams has announced she’s pregnant with her first child.

The medical expert and boyfriend Stuart McKay, whom she’s been dating since 2019, announced the happy news online on Sunday evening.

Dr Zoe, 40, who took part earlier this year in The Real Full Monty On Ice, beamed in the new photos, and said that her two biggest ambitions in life were to become a doctor, and to become a mother.

Now she’s delighted to be able to be both, with the baby expected to arrive in June.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine, she explained: ‘As a doctor none of this is new to me, but when you’re the patient the experience is the same as for anyone else.

‘Having my scan was just the most amazing thing. It’s so magical, the wonder of seeing this little life that’s growing inside you.’

Prior to meeting Stuart, Dr Zoe admitted that she was thinking about using a sperm donor to conceive a child, and being a single mum.

However, after a few dates with her beau, Dr Zoe laid out what she wanted – and things have been on the up since.

As Stuart and I got to know each other it almost felt disingenuous and wrong not to talk about this thing that, in the months leading up to that, had been a really big part of my life,’ she said.

‘So on our third or fourth date I told him I needed to know what his intentions were if our relationship worked out.’

‘If I could go back two years and speak to myself and say that by January 2021 you will have met the love of your life, be pregnant and you’ll have spent most of the year in lockdown I would have said you are having a laugh,’ the star beamed.
