Thomas Markle Jr, the half-brother of Meghan Markle, has joked about ‘hiding from immigration’ to stay in Australia after Big Brother VIP.
The outspoken figure, 55, is currently down under after wrapping filming on the reality show – and hinted that he’s set to reach the final.
In a clip on his Instagram, he said: ‘Tom Markle here coming to you live from the Big Brother VIP hotel backyard, you know, where rations get a little low, so Big Brother makes us run outside here in the ocean and get our own food.
‘It’s going to be an amazing, amazing show. I’m looking forward to making it all the it all the way to the end.’
He went on to joke: ‘As a matter of fact, I think I’m going to hide from immigration and I’m not going to go home.’
The cast have been filming the series in the Olympic Park in Sydney in recent weeks.
The estranged brother of the Duchess of Sussex has not been shy to criticise his sister in public in recent months and years.

‘I’m Meghan Markle’s brother, I’m the most famous brother of them all,’ he states in the show’s trailer.
He went on to claim: ‘I told Prince Harry, “I think she’s going to ruin your life,” she’s very shallow.’
Other stars who feature in the series include Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power and Caitlyn Jenner.
Controversial media personality, Katie Hopkins, was also meant to appear on the Australian version of the hit series but was later replaced by Jenner.

She was sent home to the UK with a AUS $1,000 (£530) fine, after she posted a video claiming she would break strict hotel quarantine rules after landing down under.
She said she had been ‘lying in wait’ to answer the door to her hotel room naked with no face mask on.
In the video – which has since been deleted – she added: ‘What I want is the sergeant in the foyer to come up and tell me off so that I can stand there naked while he tells me off.’
Not long after, Seven Network and Endemol Australia confirmed the former Apprentice contestant was ‘not part’ of the show.
They said in a statement: ‘Seven Network and Endemol Shine Australia confirm that Katie Hopkins is not part of Big Brother VIP.
‘Seven and Endemol Shine strongly condemn her irresponsible and reckless comments in hotel quarantine.’
