Tiger King season 2: Who is new to the cast this series?

Netflix’s Tiger King 2 is finally here, and with it is a whole bunch of new cast members.

The recently released five-part documentary unpicks several wild newfound revelations from the likes of the major players from season one, including Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin, and Jeff Lowe.

However, a number of unfamiliar characters are also thrown into the mix and expose more bombshells as the saga continues.

Here’s everything you need to know about the new additions to the Tiger King family.

Kimberly Craft

Kimberly Craft was engaged to Joe Exotic when he was in his late teens and serving as a police chief.

‘I was at a point in my life where I had two children and no husband,’ she shares in the documentary, adding that they dated for quite some time.

‘My ex-husband beat me on a regular basis and Joe was the one who got the warrant for his arrest.’

Exotic proposed to Kimberly on Christmas Day, however the pair later called off their engagement when Exotic came out as gay.

Brian Rhyne was Exotic’s first husband, and they were married for 16 years before his death in 2002.

In Tiger King 2, it’s revealed that Rhyne, who was HIV positive, died of lung cancer in Exotic’s arms.

A G.W Zoo employee says: ‘One time he [Exotic] took him to the hospital, Brian died in the parking lot on the way home. He called me and that was a gut-wrenching conversation. Brian just died in his arms.’

Ashley Webster

Former G.W Zoo employee, Ashley Webster, claims that she was asked to kill Carole Baskin shortly after starting work there in 2016.

Ashley rang Carole and warned her about the threat against her life, sparking the murder-for-hire investigation which eventually got Exotic jailed.

‘My very first day, Jeff said something about killing Carole Baskin and how she needs to die because she took some of his animals,’ she says in the documentary.

Ashley alleges that Exotic said he’d pay her ‘a couple of grand’ to go down to Florida and kill Carole.

Three days later, the FBI turned up at her house. ‘They were very aware that Jeff Lowe was conspiring to kill Carole Baskin, because I told them that,’ she states.

Exotic refutes Ashley’s claims though. ‘I don’t even remember talking to Ashley Webster,’ he fires back. ‘She was there for such a short time and she came to be a playmate for Jeff and Lauren.’

Rey Rodriguez

Rey Rodriguez is one of Don Lewis’s associates and claims that Lewis, who disappeared in 1997, had planned to relocate to Costa Rica.

‘He talked about moving to Costa Rica and starting over afresh,’ Rey says. ‘Don told me he was there to get away from Carole [Baskin] and so he put investments into my name.’

Rey also alleges that Lewis had relationships with young women in the Central American country.

‘Don’s favourite woman was Corina,’ he adds. ‘I believe she was about 15. I told Don, “be careful what you’re doing. These little girls have family, people will find out.”’

Tiger King 2 is available to stream on Netflix.
