Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle has finally been given an official launch date and yes, we’re counting down the days.
The Netflix dating series follows a group of singletons, from different parts of the world, attempting to make meaningful connections while being forbidden to have any sexual contact. Oh, and they are observed by a cone called Lana. You can’t make this up.
If they break the rules – as they inevitably do – money is taken out of the $100,000 (£72,000) prize fund.
Here’s everything we know so far.
When is Too Hot To Handle season 3 released?
We’re currently experiencing the frostiest winter ever, but in January 2022 you might find your temperature rising ever so slightly, as Netflix has confirmed the steamy show will return on 19 January.
Season 2 saw Marvin Anthony take home the prize money after it was decided that Marvin was the one who most worked to develop a meaningful relationship with co-star Melinda Melrose.
Is there a trailer for Too Hot To Handle season 3?
The promo clip starts with the words reading: ‘Star the year with a bang,’ with a montage of the series two contestants looking at the camera suggestively.
‘Yes it’s back, new year, new cast, January 19.’
Netflix’s vice president Brandon Riegg told Variety early in the year: ‘The secret is out – we’re thrilled to bring back Too Hot to Handle for two new seasons in a tropical paradise.’
Who is in the cast of Too Hot To Handle season 3?
Season 3 of the risque show returns with a brand new cast, but we might have to wait a little longer to see who they are.
Meanwhile, despite his early rule breaks, Cam Holmes, who had a romance with Emily Miller on the show, also made it as a finalist, along with Carly Lawrence and Marvin.
Lana was left pretty unhappy about the lack of meaningful relationships being forged throughout the course of the show, so let’s hope the upcoming season will be a breakthrough.
Too Hot To Handle seasons one and two are available to stream on Netflix and season 3 launches January 19, 2022.
