Freddie Flintoff clearly doesn’t mind being in the face of danger, if tonight’s Top Gear is anything to go by.
In a first-look clip from tonight’s instalment, we see Freddie sat on top of Chris Harris’ Bentley Flying Spur, as he raced it around the grounds of the Plas Newydd Estate in Wales – all while hooked up to a heart rate monitor.
Rather him than us.
Paddy McGuinness could only look on in horror as he waited patiently by the start/finish line.
‘Go on Harris, go on Chris as fast as you want son, I don’t mind,’ Freddie shouted in the video.
‘Fred, you are a lunatic,’ Chris replied.
‘Why would you tell him go as fast as you want?’ Paddy questioned.
‘Now a normal person should find this kind of thing at least a little bit unsettling, but good news for Team Britain, Flintoff is not normal.’
Just when we thought things couldn’t get any weirder, Freddie casually whipped out a banana and started to eat it, as Chris’ speed increased.
‘Actually, I think it will be fine,’ Paddy added.
‘As Fred has got the resting heart rate of a blue whale. This morning I had to put a mirror under his nose to check he was breathing.’
As the clip comes to an end, it is unclear whether it is Freddie that falls, or just the camera on top of his head.
Let’s hope it’s the latter.
During last week’s episode, Freddie also had a lucky escape after he almost crashed into oncoming traffic.
Freddie, Paddy McGuinness and Chris, were each given 30 Euros to hire a car for the weekend before they embarked in a series of challenges.
After selecting their cars, the hosts began their first task where they had to race around a track in 40-degree heat through oncoming traffic.
Freddie, who drove a silver Suzuki Jimny didn’t get off to the best start as he almost lost control of his car when going around a corner at high-speed.
Top Gear airs tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
