Chloe Brockett of The Only Way Is Essex has been suspended from the show after allegedly hurling glasses at her co-star, one of which is believed to have broken.
According to reports, the 22-year-old had a heated argument with 29-year-old Roman Hackett while shooting in Brentwood, Essex, last week.
According to a source, Chloe tossed a drink at Roman during their disagreement.
However, things allegedly escalated further, with it being claimed that Chloe then threw three glass tumblers at her co-star ‘who was right in front of her’.
‘One of the glasses hit him and smashed. There was glass everywhere,’ the source told The Sun.
According to the eyewitness, members of the reality show team and extras in the backdrop of the action were stunned by the events that followed.
‘There was glass everywhere, it was so shocking. Roman looked absolutely stunned at what had happened,’ they stated.
‘It looked like Chloe had snapped and had just grabbed the closest thing to hand to throw.’
They alleged that the incident was ‘caught on camera’, but added that ‘it’s likely those scenes will never be shown’.
A source added to the publication: ‘Chloe has apologised to Roman following the incident’, while a spokesperson for Towie said: ‘Chloe Brockett will not be returning to filming for the remainder of the series.’
It was reported in 2021 that she had been suspended from Towie for violating Covid-19 rules in order to meet Love Island star Jack Fincham, who was claimed to have gone from Essex to Kent at the time.
A representative for the show said: ‘A member of our cast was reminded of the guidelines three weeks ago after appearing to visit the garden of someone not in their bubble.
‘Consequently they were not permitted to continue filming until providing negative COVID results.’
It was claimed earlier this year that Chloe and Jack had reconciled following their breakup, which came after his break-up with his ex-girlfriend Jodie Ella.
The Only Way Is Essex is available to watch on ITVX.
