This Morning viewers were thrilled to see Holly Willoughby back on Monday’s show after she took some time off last week.
The ITV host took a couple of days off because her children showed symptoms of coronavirus.
Phillip Schofield was joined on This Morning by temporary co-hosts Alison Hammond and Davina McCall on Wednesday and Thursday.
Viewers of the ITV morning talk show were told that Holly was taking some time away from the programme and would return on Monday morning.
The Dancing on Ice host later took to Instagram to share with her followers why she was absent.
‘Over the last few days, two of our children were unwell and had symptoms of Covid,’ she said.
‘Couple that with just wanting to look after two poorly children, it meant having two days away from @thismorning.
‘I chose not to alert everyone to this because my focus was on looking after them. Thankfully all tests came back negative and everybody’s feeling much better.’
Holly concluded her message by writing: ‘See you Monday! Once again thank you for all the lovely messages.’
And, while Holly didn’t address her absence from the show during Monday’s episode, viewers were so happy to see her back on our screens.
Taking to Twitter one commented: ‘Happy Monday. Yey!! Holly is back. My life is complete x.’
Another said: ‘Its great to see Holly back on This morning.
One was thrilled about her bright pink outfit, writing: ‘Holly looks so good today omg.’
