Warning: spoilers ahead for episode five of WandaVision.
Marvel appears to have dropped an actor who revealed a major WandaVision surprise.
The latest episode of the highly anticipated Disney+ series finished on a huge twist, but a large number of fans already knew what was coming after the big moment was reported online last month.
Now, a performer who seemed to be behind the leak looks to have been cut and replaced by another voice actor, judging by the credits at the end of the third episode.
This is your final spoiler warning…
The ep ended with the shocking return of Wanda’s brother Pietro Maximoff – Quicksilver himself, but rather than Avengers: Age of Ultron actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, it’s Evan Peters back in the role.
The American Horror Story star played the same character as part of the X-Men franchise, which wasn’t part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Unfortunately, some fans had already figured out the character would be back with Peter in the role.
Voiceover actor Rhodri Martin – who was behind the character’s Spanish dub in the X-Men films – revealed he had returned to record some scenes for WandaVision.
However, as noted by ComicBookMovie, his name was absent from the credits, with Manuel Gimeno instead listed as Pietro despite Martin’s claims he had finished work on the series.
Not surprisingly, fans were upset over last month’s leak which for many will have ruined the big reveal.
One person tweeted: ‘WandaVision leaks are going around right now, so be careful. And for those sharing them, what if you just don’t? Don’t ruin the experience for others.’
Another wrote: ‘Guys plz tag spoilers with that voice actor leak. That’s big news and I’m really disappointed I can’t be surprised by it when I actually watch the show. (sic)’
And a different fan ranted: ‘If I see another a WandaVision leak, I am going to SCREAM’.
