Elizabeth Olsen kept her lips sealed when asked about fan theories regarding her highly-anticipated series, WandaVision.
The 31-yer-old actress and co-star Paul Bettany reprise their roles as Marvel characters Wanda Maximoff and Vision for the Disney+ sitcom, and fans have been itching to find out what’s in store.
Jimmy Kimmel attempted to get some answers from the actress on Tuesday night when she made an appearance on his late-night show.
The comedian reeled off several fan theories about Easter Eggs that had been spotted from promotional pictures.
One hilarious theory managed to involved the Ingrid Goes West star’s older sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Jimmy began: ‘I want to run a couple by you, I know you can’t confirm or deny but I thought maybe we could get a read from you.’
He continued: ‘What about this one? Wanda bears a striking resemblance to these actors [Mary-Kate and Ashley] who played the role of Michelle Tanner on a sitcom from the ’90s called Full House.
‘Which would mean Uncle Joey is about to join the MCU.’
Elizabeth laughed in surprise as she responded: ‘That would be incredible. It is very meta, the whole thing.’
The star also shared an exclusive clip from the series, which highlighted the influence of classic shows such as I Love Lucy and The Dick Van Dyke Show.
Little is known about the show apart from the fact it follows the superheroes living suburban lives in a bizarre world set around TV shows.
WandaVision premieres on Disney Plus on January 15.
