She told the publication: ‘Yes, I am single but I’m here to focus on dancing.

‘I’d have been crazy to say no to Strictly Come Dancing. It really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and most importantly I really want to learn to dance.’

Nikita’s girlfriend Nicole Wirt previously also sent a supportive message to the dancing duo at the weekend.

On her Instagram stories, she shared a picture of Tilly and Nikita after their dance on Saturday night.

She also captioned the post with the sweet message: ‘Amazing performance tonight. Go & vote for these cuties.’

Nikita has previously stated how supportive his family have been over his Strictly adventure.

He said to Hello!: ‘My family and my girlfriend have been an amazing support since I started Strictly.

‘I try to call them every day to update them on how it’s going.’

They scored 34 points on Saturday night, taking themselves to the top of the leaderboard with their cheeky Charleston.

Famous dad Gordon Ramsay proudly sat in the audience alongside wife Tana Ramsay, with the pair both tearful after Tilly’s stunning performance.

On Saturday night the pair will be dancing a Jive to Nicest Kids in Town from the hit movie and musical, Hairspray.

But will they have what it takes to survive another week in the competition?

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6:45pm.
