England are preparing to play in the semi-final of Euro 2020 this evening, in one of the biggest games of a generation – but it’s bad news for Love Island fans.
The ITV2 show is being moved around in the schedules due to the big game this evening and it means the programme won’t be on at its usual time of 9pm.
England vs Denmark will kick off at 8pm on ITV, with coverage due to start on the channel at 6.30pm.
As a result, Love Island will start on ITV2 at the later time of 10pm. It will finish at 11:05pm, which is an hour later than usual.
Fans on social media aren’t impressed about the time change, with some questioning the decision to move it back.
‘Rescheduled due to the football… absolute liberty,’ one disgruntled fan wrote.
‘ITV bosses you should have let the football air at 10pm instead love island is far better and should be first,’ another added.
It means fans will have to wait an extra hour to catch all the gossip from the villa – with viewers still reeling after the drama surrounding Hugo, Sharon and Faye.
Hugo offended Sharon and Faye when he revealed his biggest turn off in women was ‘fakeness’ both in looks and personality.
As two people who have had cosmetic surgery, Faye and Sharon were livid, swearing at Hugo and fuming behind his back.
The incident reduced the professional cricket player to tears and left fans stunned, with Sharon going as far as comparing plastic surgery to race.
Even Katie Price, who has openly undergone many cosmetic procedures, backed Hugo and told Sharon and Faye to ‘get over it’.

Sharon’s partner Aaron Francis admitting he was totally put off by her behaviour, too.
Sharing a photo of the islander making the ‘peace sign’ with his two fingers, Hugo’s family – who is currently in charge of his Instagram account – shared a message thanking fans after the incident, saying: ‘All peace & love. Thank you for the support x’
Tonight will also see two new bombshells enter the villa, with tensions set to rise once again.
Love Island continues tonight at 10pm on ITV2.
