Come Dine with Me has been responsible for some of the most iconic moments of daytime television in recent years.
From a contestant inexplicably putting a whole whisk in his mouth to the meme sensation that is ‘what a sad little life Jane’, the Channel 4 cooking competition has been serving up hilariously awkward encounters since it began in 2005.
There have been 45 series of the show so far, which sees a group of strangers cook for each other in the hope of receiving the highest score at the end of the week to nab a cash prize.
Such is the popularity of the show that it has also lead to a number of celebrity specials, couple editions and a number of international spin-offs.
With the show being as popular as it is, many fans have been wondering when they might be able to chow down on brand new episodes.
Here’s is everything you need to know about when you can expect to see brand new Come Dine with Me back on the menu…

Good news Come Dine with Me fans, the show is back on our screens, but not quite as we know it.
The latest series began on Monday August 2 2021, with new episodes on Channel 4 at 5pm every week night.
While comic actor and voice-over maestro Dave Lamb is still on voice-over duty, the format of the show has changed this year in order to make production more viable amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
For the first time ever in the show, contestants are not cooking in their own homes – instead, they will be cooking in a stylish converted barn hired out by the producers of the show.
The first five episodes of this series, are in Basingstoke and feature five strangers hoping to bag the £1,000 prize money, all the while staying socially distanced throughout the filming.

Christopher, Izzy, Mark, Nicole and Adam are the competitors from Basingstoke we have met this week and marketing manager Nicole is the first to cook in the new location.
‘I’m actually really apprehensive about cooking in a kitchen I’ve never used before,” said Nicole, who had to cook her Lebanese and Ghanian-influenced food, on an Aga, a type of cooker she’s never used before housed in the barn.
The contestants have been able to break the ice by exploring the beautiful gardens of the location, before enjoying/enduring the courses in a large wooden-beamed dining hall.
Brand new Come Dine with Me continues weeknights at 5pm on Channel 4.
