The first four episodes of Bridgerton season three premiered on May 16, and fans are eagerly anticipating the second batch of Polin’s season!
Bridgerton revealed in December 2023 that the third season of the hit Netflix show will be split in half, with the first portion premiering in mid-May and the second in mid-June.
Fans were curious as to why the producers opted to cut the season in half, and some speculated that a cliffhanger ending in Part One or a time jump could be to blame.
The first four episodes have now been released, and fans are impatiently awaiting the next installment. So, how long will we have to wait to find out what happens next?
When is Bridgerton season 3 part 2 coming out?
The final four episodes of Bridgerton season 3 will be released on Thursday, June 13 at 8am.
This means that Regency-era fans will have to wait just four weeks between the first part of the season and the second part.
The eight episodes, like the rest of the Bridgerton series, will last an hour and ten minutes, with the conclusion lasting somewhat longer than that.
This means that fans will be able to watch around four more hours of Bridgerton drama before the season centred on Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton‘s romance comes to an end.
The second instalment, episodes five to eight, are titled: Tick Tock, Romancing Mister Bridgerton (which is the name of the Julia Quinn novel the season is based on), Joining of Hands, and Into the Light.
While fans can only imagine what these names mean, we are hoping that the Joining of Hands in the seventh episode refers to a possible marriage – however it is uncertain which couple will marry!
Into the Light could also refer to secrets coming to light; will Colin discover that Penelope is Lady Whistledown? Will the tonne find out?
We will have to wait until June to see!
Bridgerton season 3 part 1 is available to view on Netflix.
