When is Kaley Cuoco’s The Flight Attendant being released in UK and where can I watch?

It’s good news for fans of Kaley Cuoco, as her latest series The Flight Attendant is finally coming to the UK.

Kaley, 35, may be best known for playing Penny on The Big Bang Theory, but after a hugely successful 12-season stint on the comedy, she decided to show fans a different side to her by throwing herself into a new project.

Cue, The Flight Attendant.

The comedy-drama premiered over in the US on HBO Max in November and sees Kaley, who also serves as an executive producer on the series, star as flight attendant Cassie Bowden who wakes up one morning with a hangover and a dead body next to her.

It follows her as she tries to piece the night together, all while the FBI is hot on her tail.

UK fans have been itching to get their hands on the series – which has since been nominated for multiple awards, including two Golden Globes – and finally, their prayers have been answered.

When is The Flight Attendant being released in the UK?

British viewers won’t have long to wait, as it’s been revealed that The Flight Attendant will be making its UK debut next month.

It’s set to arrive on March 19.

Where can you watch The Flight Attendant in the UK?

The Flight Attendant will be available to watch on Sky and for those that don’t have access, they can catch up on the series via streaming platform NOW TV.

 

The first season is made up of eight episodes and following its success Stateside, it has already been renewed for a second series.

Kaley shared her joy over the news in a statement that read: ‘To say that I am elated would be an understatement!

‘The positive response to our show has surpassed all of our expectations and I’m so proud of the entire team behind its success.’

Who is in the cast of The Flight Attendant?

Kaley plays the titular character, flight attendant Cassie, and ahead of the show’s release, she thanked fans of The Big Bang Theory for supporting her new project.

She said in an Instagram video: ‘I appreciate you Big Bang Theory fans who maybe really loved Penny for so long and find it hard to turn that off and look at me in a different way and follow me down this path. I know that can be really hard.

‘I appreciate the people that took the chance, even if you were unsure, [to] take this flight with me and check out the new show.’

The Flight Attendant also stars Michiel Huisman as Alex, the handsome stranger Cassie meets on her Bangkok layover, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Michelle Gomez, as Alex’s business associate.

The Originals star Colin Woodell appears as another of Cassie’s conquests and Mad Men’s Zosia Mamet plays Cassie’s lawyer best friend, Annie.

The Flight Attendant lands in the UK on Sky TV and NOW TV on March 19.
