Where is Billie Shepherd on Dancing on Ice this week?

Dancing on Ice is missing a familiar face this week, with Billie Shepherd taking a break from the show due to a family bereavement.

The reality star is absent following the death of her grandmother Nanny Wendy aged 77.

It was announced earlier in the week that the TOWIE star would not be taking part in Sunday’s show.

A spokesperson for the show told Metro.co.uk: ‘Sadly due to a family bereavement this week Billie Shepherd is taking a break from the ice and won’t be on Sunday’s show.

‘We look forward to her returning next week and send her all of our love at this sad time.’

According to reports, Billie’s beloved nanny died after being diagnosed with pneumonia.

Last week, Billie made her debut on the show and took to the ice to Spice Up Your Life by Spice Girls. She was awarded 25 points.

She isn’t the only contestant who was missing from Sunday’s show. Denise Van Outen has been replaced by Amy Tinkler after dislocating her shoulder.

Rufus Hound is also sitting out the second successive week in order to self-isolate.

Dancing On Ice airs on Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
