Phillip Schofield has a different right hand lady on This Morning for the time being – with Rochelle Humes taking over from Holly Willoughby.

On their return from the Easter break, fans were curious to know where Holly was and what she was up to.

Well, it turns out she’s got a super secret project on the horizon, which is pretty exciting.

Here’s everything we know.

Why is Holly Willoughby not on This Morning?

Holly has taken an extra week off from This Morning in order to work on a new project.

The presenter hasn’t announced what it is yet, but shared a photo on Instagram to let fans know what she won’t be about this week.

With her son Chester, six, jumping on her back as she lies on the grass writing in a notebook, Holly is seen beaming and wrote: ‘Vitamin D, caffeine and a side order of distraction from Chester.

‘Working on something else next week which I can’t wait to share with you all…

Thank you to the lovely [Rochelle Humes] for keeping my side of the sofa warm… x.’

Rochelle was among those to leave her a message, simply saying ‘got you’ next to a heart and a kissing emoji.

When is Holly Willoughby back on This Morning?

Rochelle Humes will be filling in for Holly for the rest of the week alongside Phillip Schofield.

The 40-year-old star will then be back on the sofa and in presenting duties as normal from next Monday.

Rochelle confirmed the news during her first episode taking over, after an on-set error saw her wander off too early.

‘What is happening? I heard someone say, “cue Roch” so Roch went!’ she joked.

The Saturdays star added: ‘Don’t worry, Holly’s back next week. It’s alright, it’s just temporarily.’

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
