*Warning: This contains spoilers for BBC drama Wolf.
With its most recent crime drama, Wolf, a suspenseful thriller based on Mo Hayder’s Jack Caffery books, the BBC has another success on its hands.
With a second plotline involving a dangerous hostage scenario, the six-part series stars Ukweli Roach as Caffery, a young investigator who is intensely preoccupied with a cold case near to his heart. The synopsis promises a “very distressing race against time” when the two stories intertwine.
You may be on the edge of your seat, but there’s another element of the programme that may keep you guessing: where have you seen many of the cast members before? There are a few well-known names in the group.
