Celebrity MasterChef brought the drama again last night, with the contestants causing a bit of chaos in the kitchen.

Penny Lancaster was eliminated last week following her disastrous ravioli dish.

However, this week it was Katie Price who suffered a catastrophe in the kitchen.

Viewers watched her struggle as she admitted that it wasn’t ‘going to plan at all’.

She warned the diners of her ‘disastrous attempt’, before rushing back to the kitchen to prepare a dessert of bread and butter pudding, topped with pistachios.

Unfortunately, the judges weren’t too impressed with Katie’s dishes, complaining of undercooked steak and chips, and didn’t love her sauce.

After her disastrous time of it, Katie left the show last night.

It was a surprise for some fans, after she delighted judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode in previous weeks with her cooking skills. However, it seems steak wasn’t her strong suit.

Speaking of her exit, she confessed: ‘There’s no excuses, you win some, you lose some.

‘But I’m so proud of everything I achieved. I did try today but I just couldn’t pull it out of the bag. It is what it is but I’ve had a fantastic time.’

Katie was eliminated just before the semi-final, leaving the likes of Joe Swash and Dion Dublin to go through to the semi-final.

Who are the Celebrity MasterChef judges?

Gregg and John returned to Celebrity MasterChef to judge the famous faces competing for the top spot.

The pair first started presenting the cooking show in 2005

Celebrity MasterChef continues on Monday, at 9pm, on BBC One.
