Love Island is officially over for another year, with winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon taking home the prize fund.
After weeks of wild recouplings, dramatic fallouts from Casa Amor and countless bombshells, Laura Whitmore was on hand to crown the couple in a tense final.
The lovebirds – who made their romance official earlier in the evening – managed to beat out runners-up Toby Aromolaran and Chloe Burrows, Faye Winter and Teddy Soares, and Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank to the £50,000 jackpot.
Speaking of the win, Millie said: ‘I cannot believe we’ve just been crowned the winners of Love Island!
‘Thank you so much, everybody who voted for us, it means the world.
‘We’ve had literally the summer of our lives and we’re gonna leave here and now explore our future together.

‘We can’t wait.’
‘Thank you everyone,’ Liam agreed. ‘We’re leaving together and [will] continue our journey. So thank you.’
Did Liam and Millie split the cash prize?

Despite being named the Love Island 2021 winners, Liam and Millie faced one more tense question as they were handed the prize of £50k.
The pair were handed an envelope each, with one containing the money and the other holding absolutely nothing.
It was up to Millie to decide whether they would share the dosh or become the first person in history to hog the lot.
After a few moments which must have felt like centuries to Liam, his girlfriend announced that she would definitely be sharing.
We can just imagine their Selfridges splurge now…
Love Island is available to stream on ITVHub.
