My Celebrity Life

Who won Taskmaster series 10 and will there be a series 11?

Richard Herring has been crowned the new Taskmaster champion as series 10 came to an end.

The beloved slapstick show ended its first ever run on Channel 4 by delivering the golden head of Greg Davies to comedian Richard, after some tough competition.

He very closely beat This Country’s Daisy May Cooper who came in second place even after trying to win points with recordings of a ghost.

Stand-ups Mawaan Rizwan and Johnny Vegas came third and fourth, with The IT Crowd’s Katherine Parkinson coming in last.

He had to earn his spot though – bringing in the collection of coins he had as a boy as the ‘best collection of worthless things’ – which didn’t impress too much.

However, he clawed it back with a rousing performance of an original song with Daisy May Cooper – which some fans compared to ‘X Factor’s Same Difference only 20 years later’.

He has now been confirmed to join the upcoming Champion of Champions series, joining five previous winners for the biggest title of all.

Liza Tarbuck, Kerry Godliman, Lou Sanders, and Ed Gamble will join Richard in the series, which will air next year.

Will there be a Taskmaster series 11?

Yes! The team ended this year’s series with the surprise that series 11 is not only on its way – it’s already been filmed.

While the release date is not yet known, the line-up has been confirmed.

Lee Mack, Charlotte Richie, Jamali Maddix, Mike Wozniak and Sarah Kendall are the next stars in the hot seat, eager to impress and show off their wits.

Taskmaster is available for catch-up on Channel 4 on Demand.
