Get ready, Celebrity Big Brother lovers! since the 2024 series premiere date is almost approaching!
Following the enormous success of the ITV revival last year, in which Jordan Sangha won the competition and took home the £100,000 prize money, a trailer for the next celebrity spin-off has been revealed.
With hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best returning to cover all of the drama, antics and excitement in the Big Brother House, we can’t wait to find out what’s in store… and who will be joining the widely-rumoured line-up.
The teaser depicts numerous ‘celebrities’ shying away from the cameras, concealing their faces with a range of things ranging from shopping bags to a fluffy puppy.
Two people are seen going down the street, holding placards that read ‘No photographs’ and ‘Cheers’, in a scene similar of when Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone put up signs while being photographed in public.
As Big Brother’s peppy theme music plays, more celebrities appear… They covered their faces with blankets, umbrellas, and even trees.
One even emulates Jude Law’s Mr Napkin Head from The Holiday, placing a napkin over their face and holding it in place with their sunglasses while seated at an outdoor restaurant table.
Near the end of the preview, one even raises her middle finger to the camera while standing in the centre of a thicket.
Then, co-hosts AJ and Will appear, as the former states: ‘Ooh they can run…’, and the latter adds: ‘But there’s one place they can’t hide.’
As the camera zooms out to see the Big Brother House, viewers are given to an exciting reminder that the programme will return in just a few weeks in March.
The teaser may or may not have revealed cast members. We can’t say enough how happy we are for the show to return!
Speculation has been widespread as to who will be in Celebrity Big Brother 2024, with numerous names mentioned.
In addition to Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, it is thought that former Love Island winner and star of The Traitors US will join the cast.
The roster might possibly include entrepreneur Levi Roots, former X Factor judge Louis Walsh, EastEnders star Max Bowden, and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK standout Bimini.
Celebrity Big Brother will air this March on ITV1 and ITVX.
