Woman can’t watch Tipping Point because her dog hates Ben Shephard: ‘She gets hysterical if she sees or hears him on TV’

One viewer called into Tuesday’s This Morning to ask a pet psychic why her dog hates TV presenter Ben Shephard.

Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield via video link, pet psychic Beth Lee-Crowther was on hand to answer any viewer animal queries.

One fan called Sandra had emailed into the show to ask Beth why her dog hates the Tipping Point host.

Trying to hold back his laughter, Phillip began: ‘Sandra has asked “Why does my dog hate Ben Shephard?”‘

‘My dog Millie hates Ben Shephard and Tipping Point, which is a shame because that is a good show.

‘She gets hysterical if she sees or hears Ben Shephard on TV, I love Tipping Point, I can’t watch it anymore as it’s too traumatic for Millie.’

‘Where has the hate for Ben Shephard come from?’ Phillip added.

Beth simply replied: ‘I don’t believe that she hates Ben Shephard, but what she picks up on is, I don’t know whether you have a soft spot for Ben Shephard, actually Sandra.

‘But you get quite excited when this programme comes on and she picks up on that energy and those vibes and she almost anticipates what is going to happen and she gets into quite an excitable state.’

Beth went on to explain that the name Ben was actually ‘very significant’ to Sandra.

‘The interesting thing that I did pick up when I looked at her (Millie’s) picture, was the actual name of Ben, for someone else,’ she continued,

‘Again, if you don’t know them yet, please look out for them coming in because it comes in a very significant way for you.

‘I also want to give you the date for the 1st of December, again put that in your diary.’

Elsewhere in the show, Beth also commented on US President-elect Joe Biden’s dogs.

The animal psychic claimed that Mr Biden’s dogs – Champ and Major – are ‘excited’ to be entering the White House.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
