A lady seeking treatment for a birthmark that bleeds down her face ‘nearly everyday’ has turned to Dr Pimple Popper.
The TLC reality series follows Dr. Sandra Lee as she treats patients from all around the country with pimples, bumps, and lumps.
The cosmetic surgeon has seen it all, from a ‘third breast’ to fatty tumours and even someone with 400 tumours spread across his body.
However, in a teaser for a forthcoming episode, one patient describes how their birthmark has turned into something resembling a “gross pimple.”
‘My birthmark is what is commonly known as a port-wine stain, and unfortunately it has also produced a bump which protrudes like a gross pimple,’ she begins.
As she prods the bump on her forehead, she admits: ‘I don’t know what it is.’
The patient goes on: ‘My bump bleeds almost daily for anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes.’
The video then cuts to a shot of blood filling her brow and pouring down her face, illustrating one of those ‘nearly everyday’ occurrences.
‘It is a constant dripping faucet.’
This comes after Dr. Lee assisted a guy with a ‘hard bulbous growth’ over his eye, which he mistook for a spider bite.
He then prods it with his fingers, describing that it feels’really hard’ like ‘nose cartilage’ in stomach-churning moments.
‘I can move it around and it doesn’t hurt at all, there’s no pain,’ he says.
He continues: ‘I didn’t go to the doctor growing up, I never had a family doctor or anything like that, and I didn’t get sick a lot, and now as an adult, I’m definitely squeamish about a knife cutting me open.
‘I’m not a big proponent of any medical procedures.’
Dr Pimple Popper airs on TLC in America.
