Wynonna Earp’s Melanie Scrofano and Tim Rozon thank fans after People’s Choice Award win

It was a big night for Wynonna Earp fans as they watched the show bag the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show nod at the E! People’s Choice Awards.

The Earpers successfully helped the hit Syfy show walk away with their second ever PCA gong after beating out stiff competition.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Legacies, Lock & Key, Supergirl, Supernatural, The Flash, The Umbrella Academy all lost out on the night, and Wynonna Earp stars Tim Rozon and Melanie Scrofano were pretty thrilled.

Tim began: ‘For me, the best thing about the People’s Choice Awards is that the fans make it happen. We already know that we have the best fans in the world and it doesn’t take any more to prove it. But it doesn’t hurt [laughs].’

‘[This is] definitely awesome, I love it. I think when we win, the fandom wins and that’s who deserves most of the adulation. I’m happy for Melanie Scrofano to win her second People’s Choice Award but I’m even more happy that the Earpers fought and won.’

Melanie added: ‘I agree I think it’s been such a tough year, we didn’t do it but it’s so nice that fans were able to give us all a little bit of light in a really tough year. So thank you.’

Fans were thrilled as one tweeted: ‘Congratulations to the best cast crew and creators on TV , so proud of you all 🙌🏻Please tell me it will at least be recognised on the telecast , they deserve that much ❤️🙏🏻’

Another wrote: ‘So happy for Emily and the entire cast and crew right now. And every #earper out their. To say I’m proud to be apart of this amazing family. Would be a under statement (sic)’.

One delighted fan added: ‘Congrats #WynonnaEarp & everyone involved. We voted our hearts out for you because you all deserve the best!! The first half of S4 made 2020 tolerable. Thank you for everything. Sending so much love your way.’

Wynonna Earp follows Wyatt Earp’s great-granddaughter as she battles demons and other creatures. With her unique abilities and a posse of dysfunctional allies, she’s the only thing that can bring the paranormal to justice.
