Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice had high praise indeed for Rose Ayling-Ellis on Saturday night, labelling her as ‘beautiful’ after she smashed both dances.
Rose and Giovanni have been one of the couples to watch since the start of Strictly and have now made it all the way to the final.
Viewers have fallen in love with the duo, who have gone from strength to strength throughout the series.
But last weekend’s show saw them deliver their best performances yet, leading to some very cute comments from Giovanni in response.
In a clip released of unheard audio from the contestants’ microphones, Giovanni could be heard calling Rose ‘beautiful’ after they finished their gorgeous Waltz to Ellie Goulding’s How Long Will I Love You.
Rose is heard giggling after realising she’s aced the routine, to which her dance partner simply says: ’Beautiful, beautiful… beautiful.’
The pair shared a hug in a touching moment before going to receive their comments from the judges.
Fans quickly reacted to the adorable snippet after their routine, praising them for their amazing partnership
Writing on Twitter, one fan said: ‘Love the way that Rose and Gio have found the ability to communicate so much to each other without the need for words – they’re surely one of the best partnerships we’ve seen on Strictly x.’
‘The fact Rose doesn’t get any verbal cues yet absolutely nails it shows what an excellent dancer she is. She’s on another level!’ echoed another.
A viewer added: ‘Rose and Giovanni look at each other after there AT speaks a thousand words.’
‘The look! Then the giggle! Said everything without saying anything! Don’t think I could adore @RoseAylingEllis and @pernicegiovann1 any more!’ said another.
It comes after it was a night full of emotions on Saturday, with the four semi-finalists all delivering some stunning performances.
In the same clip, John and Johannes are both seen in tears after their Couple’s Choice, with the pair both thanking each other
AJ and Kai topped the leaderboard alongside Giovanni and Rose on Saturday night, with their Rumba going down particularly well.
The notoriously hard dance saw them awarded a perfect score, with Kai clearly very pleased with his partner’s efforts.
He can be heard telling AJ: ‘You ledge, you beauty. Well done darling, well done!’
However, only one pair can lift the Glitterball Trophy on Saturday night – who will it be?
