Adele was beyond grateful Shania Twain rocked up to her Las Vegas show wearing a hat otherwise she would’ve ‘self-combusted.’
The Easy on Me hitmaker, 34, kicked off her long-awaited return to Sin City with her Weekends With Adele residency after cancelling her shows earlier in the year due to Covid delays.
However, that’s all water under the bridge (so sorry) for her devoted fans who managed to nab tickets just in time.
Several celebrities have also turned up to support the Rolling In The Deep megastar, one of which included country music icon Shania, 57.
Unfortunately, Adele didn’t clock that the You’re Still The One I Want singer was sitting front row wearing an olive green outfit complete with a stylish sheriff’s hat.
The British musician shared a shot of her mid-performance with Shania watching her in awe along with an emoji pointing downwards in her direction.
‘Thank god you had a hat on @shaniatwain,’ Adele shared via Instagram Stories.
‘I would have self combusted had I seen it was you!!
‘I adore you, I can’t believe you came to my show.’
Shania isn’t the only A-lister showing love for Adele, as rapper Stormzy hailed her Las Vegas show as ‘the best I’ve ever seen.’
‘In terms of the intimacy of it. It was very like… you’re in there but it’s like a small theatre but it’s f***ing Adele,’ he told host Jonathan Ross.
‘It’s got all the glitz and glamour like a massive arena show, but it’s in a small place and it’s kind of like, wonderful.
‘Beautiful and spectacular and glamorous… I was like, chefs kiss.’
The Grammy winner will also perform on Friday, December 30 as well as Saturday, December 31, 2022, meaning some very lucky fans will get to spend their final hours of this year with her.
Announcing the new dates, she shared an edited snap to Instagram, which showed her smiling on stage, wearing a pair of 2023 glasses and popping a bottle of champagne.
New Years Eve has always been a let down for me, I seem to always end up spending it in a car on my way to or from somewhere!’, she began in her caption.
‘But not this year!! I’ll be ringing 2023 in on stage!! I dress up to the nines on NYE and I would love it if those of you that come would too! Let’s go all out black tie vibes.’
