Ant McPartlin’s Family tree tattoo
The newest addition to his ink collection is a tattoo which he revealed while announcing the birth of their baby.
On Ant’s shoulder, there is a huge family tree with the names of his wife, his stepdaughters and his dogs.
That’s right Milo and Bumble are listed along with Poppy and Daisy on the fresh inking as well as a branch for ‘Amzie’ which is his nickname for Anne-Marie.
Previously speaking to The Telegraph about the girls he shared: ‘I’ve got two step-daughters, 13 and 15, and they are more socially aware at that age than I was in my mid-20s – than I still am.
‘It’s not going to be our generation that saves the world. Look at Greta Thunberg, single-handedly almost making the world aware of climate change. It’s that kind of energy that this generation has got and they’ll save the rest of us.’
Ant McPartlin’s John Lennon tribute tattoo
Ant first showed off a massive John Lennon tribute tattoo while presenting the hit ITV show I’m A Celebrity in 2022.
His forearm is emblazoned with a circular design, which has intricate triangular lines across it and the word ‘Imagine’ written in the middle.
The recognised ink replicates the iconic Imagine mosaic, which was built in Strawberry Fields, New York, to celebrate the Beatles legend and music singer.
People frequently leave flowers, candles, and other mementos at the site, symbolising the message of late musician John Lennon’s 1971 song, which envisioned a future free of turmoil, violence, and conflict.
Ant McPartlin’s AA inspired tattoos
Ant has a few tattoos that represent his experiences with drug and alcohol addiction, including a circle and triangle inspired by the alcoholics anonymous emblem on his left wrist.
The AA emblem, which is shaped like a triangle in the middle of a circle, is supposed to represent the three aspects of addiction: physical, mental, and spiritual, as well as the three cures: unity, recovery, and service.
On the subject of this tattoo, Ant said: ‘It means a great deal to me. The tattoo is based on the symbol but is not exactly the same.
‘It’s more about beliefs and principles and where your mind is at in terms of love and being of good service to other humans, moving forward positively. It’s about how I am and how I will live my life in a good way.’
On his right wrist, he’s got ‘S&H’ – it’s not clear what the ‘H’ stands for, but the ‘S’ is for ‘sober’ according to The Sun.
Ant McPartlin’s Rose and Arrow tattoos
An arrow and a long-stemmed rose are also on the outside of his forearms, one on each arm.
It is unclear whether Ant has a specific meaning behind either of them because he has not remarked on them.
However, traditionally arrow tattoos are thought to symbolise strength and finding direction in your life.
The rose tends to be symbolic of love, usually everlasting and true love, but they are also a fairly common inking.
Ant McPartlin’s other tattoos
Ant has another tattoo dedicated to his wife, a simple ‘A’ placed in a love heart which he got in 2021.
Ramping up the romance, the tat sits on his heart after Anne-Marie reportedly saved him during his ‘lowest depths’.
The Britain’s Got Talent host also has three stars outlined on his wrist but it’s not known if this is symbolic of anything.
