Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Joseph Baena looks a lot like his famous father, as evidenced by fresh photos of the 25-year-old flexing his muscles.
Arnold was a professional bodybuilder who won the Mr Universe title at the age of 20 and was recognised for his muscles as much as his acting as he built a big reputation for himself in Hollywood.
Arnold, who is now retired, takes great care to maintain his fitness levels at the gym, frequently sharing his jaw-dropping exercises with supporters on social media.
Arnold’s passion for bodybuilding has clearly rubbed off on his son Joseph, who has been working on his biceps for years and is now proudly showing off the results.
In fresh Instagram photographs, Joseph can be seen working out in a sun-kissed outdoor gym, wearing only sunglasses, sneakers, and shorts as he flexes to show off his massive biceps and rippling muscles.
In one photo, he poses while beaming at the camera, while in another, he turns to show off the muscles in his back.
The kid bodybuilder is already a carbon copy of his actor father, but these photographs highlight the remarkable likeness between the two.
It’s not the first time the two has demonstrated their mutual passion of working out, as they previously worked out at the gym to celebrate Arnie’s 72nd birthday.
Arnold, now 76, was a huge deal on the bodybuilding circuit in the 1960s and 1970s, winning the renowned Mr Olympia title seven times before creating a name for himself in Hollywood and politics.
He told Men’s Health that even in his 70s, he still does his iconic bodybuilding postures, ‘but only in the toilet, since it sometimes makes me weep.’
The actor’s motivation to exercise is different today than it was when he was younger, as he now works out to’stay alive’ and ‘to be able to perform my films’, he revealed.
Arnold and ex-wife Maria Shriver have four children: Katherine, 33, Christina, 31, Patrick, 29, and Christopher, 25.
Mildred Baena, the family’s longtime housekeeper, shares Joseph.
