Ayda Field has spoken candidly about her and her husband Robbie Williams’ bedroom antics, even revealing they have ‘threesomes’ basically every night.
But hold your horses, folks, because we’re not talking about some saucy bedroom guest here.
In fact, Ayda explained that it’s not a person she and Robbie are cosying up with come nightfall, but his beloved laptop.
Speaking on her Postcard from the Edge podcast, the 43-year-old said that Robbie, 48, has trouble sleeping, but because of his past addiction struggles, the hit-maker chooses not to take sleeping pills.
Instead, Robbie makes sure to bring his laptop to bed with him each night and often doesn’t nod off until the early hours of the morning.
Speaking to guest Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Ayda shared: ‘He doesn’t get to bed until five in the morning or four in the morning because he’s like radio Rob in his head.’

Doting mum Ayda added: ‘My husband actually sleeps with the computer. He cradles it like a security blanket. It’s the threesome we’re having. It’s me, Rob, and our leather MacBook.’
She went on: ‘There are times when I[‘ve] whacked myself on the computer in the night or he flicks it off the bed and there’s this huge, loud crash and I’m jumped.
‘Because you know, because of his addictions he can’t take sleeping pills, he can’t take anything to go to bed. I think his addiction is really technology now, you know, he will always find something.’
Offering an insight into exactly what Robbie gets up to on his laptop every night, the Loose Women star continued: ‘So he’s on YouTube. He’ll [look up and watch] podcasts, but really YouTube music, interviews, comedy.

‘People listening might think that me and Rob have these really rock and roll evenings and there’s like all this, like, sexy, cool stuff happening. This is what’s actually happening.’ We love the honesty.
Ayda’s latest comments echo remarks she made about her and Robbie’s bedroom antics last month, when she joked that their sex life is ‘completely dead’.
Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on an older episode of her podcast, Ayda quipped: ‘[Our sex life] has been obliterated by four kids. There is really no need to go to bed at the same time. It’s just a joint work space.’
‘I might as well make the bed like a ping pong table and we could just play every now and then. And then stray off into other corners to sleep. I think that’s what it is – it’s a WeWork space.’
The loved-up couple has been married for more than 10 years and share children Theodora, nine, Charlton, seven, Colette, three, and two-year-old Beau.
