Celebrities like to fly in private jets or first class, but Billie Eilish, the down-to-earth musician, was spotted in economy on a flight.
Billie, whose new gnashers made headlines last week, chose to keep things low-key and boarded her mystery trip anonymously.
The 21-year-old had hidden her hair with a hat and sweatshirt combo, but she shared a photo on social media, revealing her airport chic style.
A fellow traveller for the unknown aircraft destination noticed her and shared a brief video of the star on TikTok.
‘POV: You see Billie Eilish for free,’ wrote the surprised fan as they zoomed in to reveal the top of the Bad Guy singer’s head a few rows in front.
They added some snaps of Billie from above through a window, although it’s still hard to tell if it really is the soon-to-be Reading and Leeds festival performer.
They finished the film by posting Billie’s Instagram story, in which she disclosed her clothing and that she was on a plane, confirming her status as the economy queen.
Billie wore a grey beanie cap with blue stars and a matching blue sweatshirt when she uploaded her photo, adding Future’s song I Serve the Base to her tale.
‘Pov: you’re in a plane with Billie (Still can’t believe wtf just happened),’ the excited fan wrote in the caption.
In the video, it doesn’t appear as if the plane has a first-class section and Billie is sat as far forward as possible to maintain some privacy for the superstar.
Billie in the economy isn’t unexpected, given that the Ocean Eyes singer is frequently the definition of cool and personable, even taking a toilet selfie earlier this month.
She just disclosed her breakup with Jesse Rutherford, 31, whom she began seeing in October 2022.
The duo frequently made fun of their 10-year age difference, which sparked debate among followers.
When asked about the breakup, Billie wrote: ‘Very very good friends only. My homie forever.’
