Brian Austin Green headed to Instagram to show off his new haircut, but the star was not impressed by the outpouring of support from fans.
The 50-year-old appeared to have lost his characteristic black locks in favour of a completely buzzed head.
While he remains out of the spotlight, Brian’s ex-wife Megan Fox drew attention to their connection again last month when she covered up a tattoo devoted to him.
Brian does post on Instagram on a regular basis, posting photos from his surprise birthday party last month and disclosing that he will be on season two of Fox’s Special Forces.
On Saturday, August 5, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star shared a happy photo on the social networking site, garnering tens of thousands of likes.
However, he swiftly disabled comments as followers opted to express their displeasure with his new look.
Brian is most known for his black hair, which he wore from his stint on the programme in the 1990s until recently, when he went platinum blonde.
He’s shaved all of his hair and arranged his short facial hair into a circle beard.
He turned off comments and altered his caption after originally uploading, chastising outspoken people.
‘Fresh cut 😊. Thought I’d share ❤️❤️ It’s for work (since people seem to want to comment about their opinion on it) Just sharing 😂,’ he wrote.
He hasn’t revealed which new project the look is for, but he has stated that fans’ feedback on the style was not requested.
Brian and Megan, 37, married in 2010 after dating for six years and met on the set of Hope & Faith when the latter was only 18 years old.
During their relationship, the Jennifer’s Body actress got his name tattooed in cursive script low down on her right hip, but the tat has now been covered with a snake.
They share custody of three children: Noah Shannon, 10, Bodhi Ransom, 9, and Journey River, 6.
They enjoyed an on-again, off-again romance for 16 years until splitting up in May 2020.
Brian and former Beverly Hills co-star Vanessa Marcil have a 21-year-old son named Kassius.
He’s been married to professional dancer Sharna Burgess since October 2020, and they’re expecting their first kid in June 2022.
