Britney Spears is indulging the newest member of her family by purchasing a Gucci swimsuit for her pet dog.
This summer, the Everytime star welcomed small Maltese dog Snow into her house, just as husband Sam Asghari relocated after filing for divorce.
Britney kept the most of their canines, but Sam took Doberman Porsha, whom he had originally purchased for Britney as a protection dog.
In the days following, Britney introduced Snow to her Instagram fans, playing and conversing with the dog as she lavished it with affection, replacing either Porsha or Sam.
Snow has made a few cameos on Britney’s Instagram since then, most notably when she and the other dogs were watching Britney dance with knives, which the singer claimed were props.
Britney has now shown off a new garment she’s purchased for Snow, but instead of a collar or a little sweater, she’s gone all out and purchased the dog a Gucci bikini.
And it doesn’t seem like it’ll be the only one Snow will own, as Britney declared she had bought ‘Snow’s first Gucci bikini.’
‘I’ve never owned anything Gucci in my life … all my friends always had name brand everything,’ she wrote in the caption.
‘Am I weird because there’s supposed to be a fascination with it ??? Name brands never appealed to me … but I will get it for my babies,’ adding a dog emoji.
Snow will soon be wandering about in a Gucci skirt and bikini top, according to a photo captioned “Sweet two-piece outfit with the Gucci logo.”
The dog had previously been spotted wearing a ruffled pink frock and a set of reading glasses, which Britney placed up to Snow’s face while recording on her phone.
Snow has plenty of company in Britney’s house, as the mother of two also has an Australian shepherd named Sawyer, a yorkie named Hannah, and two additional dogs, while Sam has kept Porsha.
After 14 months of marriage to Britney, the aspiring actor filed for divorce. The couple married shortly after she was freed from her conservatorship.
Britney commented about their breakup on social media at the time, saying she was ‘a little stunned’ by the turmoil.
‘6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business!!!
‘But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly!!! In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you!!!’
