Britney Spears has alleged that her ex Justin Timberlake was unfaithful after recently announcing in her upcoming biography that she had an abortion.
The Stronger singer, 41, and the Cry Me A River artist, 42, met as kids on the Mickey Mouse Club before dating in 1999, when she was 17.
Britney alleges in her upcoming biography, The Woman In Me, which will be released on October 24, that the NSYNC member cheated on her with another A-lister.
According to TMZ, the Crossroads actress didn’t wish to name the woman in question because they have a family and she doesn’t want to embarrass them.
Following their split in 2002, Justin’s Cry Me A River music video included a female who resembled Britney and made reference to her newsboy cap and tattoo.
The song is about a man who refuses a grovelling apology from an ex.
Britney previously claimed that she fell pregnant with Justin’s child during the height of their affair.
In an extract obtained by People Magazine, the former couple had a ‘conflicted’ discussion about whether to terminate the pregnancy.
“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,’ she is thought to have penned.
‘But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.
‘If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.
‘To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.
The Trolls star has yet to comment publicly on the excerpt, but was said to be ‘worried’ about what else will be featured in the book.
After three years of dating, the couple called it quits in 2002, and Britney moved on with Kevin Federline, with whom she had boys Sean and Jayden.
