Britney Spears has claimed that she is already grappling with the world’s reaction to her biography, which is being published in excerpts ahead of its formal release this month.
Over the last two days, portions of Britney’s explosive memoir have been leaked with the globe, with Britney claiming she had an abortion while dating Justin Timberlake and that he cheated on her.
Her memoir, The Woman in Me, will be released on October 24, but several media sites have already gotten excerpts from it.
Britney said on Instagram on Wednesday that it’s been ‘challenging’ seeing reactions to her biography in the headlines.
She also underlined how difficult it was to write the book and assured supporters that she would be OK as long as she had her lovely puppy Snow by her side.
‘Been so busy recently, and there are so many unpleasant things to read in the press regarding my book!’ said the Toxic hitmaker.
‘Writing the book was so hard!’
Britney added: ‘Then I woke up this morning and said it’s all relative nothing really matters at this point!
‘As long as Snow has her Noonie the world is a better place!’
Britney revealed earlier this week that she became pregnant with Justin’s child before they made the agonising decision to seek an abortion.
In an extract obtained by People Magazine, the former couple had a ‘conflicted’ discussion about whether to terminate the pregnancy at the height of their romance from 1999 to 2002.
‘It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,’ she is thought to have penned.
‘But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.
‘If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.
‘To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.’
