Britney Spears has finally met long-time friend Lance Bass and his two gorgeous children.
The NSync member, 44, and Britney, 41, have long been good friends, but have struggled to meet up in recent years, according to Lance, even after her conservatorship ended.
Both rose to prominence at the same time, with Lance referring to her as “like a little sister” to him.
Britney has now classified herself as an aunt after seeing Lance’s 20-month-old twins for the first time, and it’s evident from the images how delighted she is.
Brit took to Twitter on Monday night to post a snapshot of herself and Lance cuddling kids Violet Berry and Alexander James, whom she received with husband Michael Turchin in October 2021.
Britney is seen grinning broadly, clearly pleased with Violet in her arms, while Lance hangs on to Alexander and Britney’s husband Sam cuddles up close to his wife.
Britney wrote excitedly: ‘I’m a new auntie for Lance’s babies !!! They are absolutely gorgeous babies !!!’
Lance previously claimed he had been ‘kept away’ from close pal Britney ‘for years’ as she battled to end her conservatorship, which she was kept under for 13 years.
Speaking on the Heather Dubrow’s World podcast in 2021, Lance said: ‘I haven’t spoken to her for years. We’ve been kept away from each other for quite a while.’
He spoke supportively of Britney trying to end the conservatorship, saying ‘she needs to pick her own people running this conservatorship, if she even needs one, especially when choosing her lawyer.’
Lance and Michael received their kids through surrogate a few weeks later, with the pop star revealing the joyous news with an Instagram post.
He wrote: ‘The baby dragons have arrived!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I can not express how much love I feel right now. Thank you for all the kind wishes. It meant a lot.
‘Now, how do you change a diaper??! Ahhhhhhhh!’
