Cara Delevingne joined magician extraordinaire David Blaine on stage in Las Vegas on Sunday, and she appeared to pass out at one point.
The runway model, 30, stopped by David’s residency at Resorts World over the weekend and apparently received more than she bargained for.
Cara could be seen grimacing and shrieking in video posted to her social media website as David pushed her to put a spike into his arm.
‘Does it look like it’s going through?’ said the world-famous illusionist to Cara. which she said, wincing, ‘I felt it.’
The model-turned-actor then let out a loud scream and said, ‘Oh my god,’ as the spike was visible sticking through the opposite side of David’s arm.
‘Push, push, push,’ he told Cara, who looked like she might faint on the spot.
As the spike emerged on the other side of David’s arm, Cara screamed: ‘No!’ before joking, ‘Can you sue me?’
Cara’s violent encounter in Sin City follows her appearance on the streets of New York filming the new season of American Horror Story opposite Emma Roberts.
The cast, dressed as their characters, began filming sequences for the 12th season of Ryan Murphy’s hit programme Glee.
While Emma, 32, was recognisable by her distinctive long blonde locks, her model co-star Cara looked nothing like herself and donned a harsh brown wig.
The Hollywood A-listers were portraying characters from Ryan and Brad Falchuk’s much-loved FX anthology for the latest installment, which is believed to be titled Delicate – after Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel Delicate Condition.
The novel, which is expected to hit shelves later this summer, is reported to be about a lady who fears someone malevolent is out to prevent her pregnancy.
Cara will make her American Horror Story debut ahead of the next season, while Emma returns after previously appearing in the programme from 2013 to 2019.
